The old Taipei Main Station was constructed during Cing Dynasty, then the Station was moved to the current site during Japanese Occupation where construction of the vertical cross rails was completed. Nowadays, the Taipei Main Station is the common-structure for the train, metro and high speed train. There  are a culture gallery, dining area, convenience stores,  post office and connection to the underground mall. However, only some of the trains have space for wheelchairs. The staff will assist you on/off trains.
