The Taipei Arena is the first multi-functional sports center in the area, providing space for exhibits, performances and sports activities. Local as well foreign artists and cultural groups came here to perform. There are many large concerts performed here. The Arena has 2-stories underground and 5-stories above ground. The exhibit and performance hall has a seating of 15,000 and the sub ice hall has a capacity of 800 seats. On the peripheral area of the 1F, there are various food shops and inside there are sports supply shops.
