In 1754, Lin Cin-Ming (also known as Lin Yao-Gong), a native of AnSi, FuJian Province, brought his family across the Strait to Taiwan. His fourth son was an expert at trading business. After accumulating a large fortune, he built a luxurious mansion in remembrance of his hometown and his great success. Therefore, his mansion was named “AnTai Home”, a combination of AnSi FuJian Province and his company, RongTai Coporation. It is one of the oldest residences in Taipei City.
