Metro (MRT) is the most convenient transportation system in Taipei city It is also the public transportation system that is used by most of the disabled. Facilities for the disabled, such as the disabled-accessible entrances and washrooms, can be found in all the stations. The Disabled can also apply for a Caring Card and Companion Caring Card for riding the Metro.
