The Taipei Welfare Center for the Disabled is a historic site. Its overall presence is in a modern style, but the window design, the interior gallery and hallways were built in wood with European classic tincture. The Building was used for an employment agency and training center in 1930 during Japanese Occupation period. Afterwards, it became the Taipei City Department of Health and is now transformed to a place for activities, exhibitions, performances and gathering for disabled groups and individuals, under the management of the Department of Social Welfare, Taipei City Government.
