Taiwan Folk Arts Museum

The Taiwan Folk Arts Museum was established in 1984, and the structure was declared to be a heritage site by the Taipei government. The museum was built in the Tang Dynasty architectural style, previously used as the Japanese military officers club. There are almost 5000 artifacts of Taiwan folk arts and the aboriginal arts, inlcuding containers made by bamboo and wood, ancient books, calligraphy and paintings, stone rubbing books, metal appliances, ceramic appliances, hand puppets, shadow puppets, and ancient boxes. There is also an TaoRanJyu Tea Ceremony House, providing leisure and entertainment for the public.
